About the Forum

A Trusted Voice Between Embassies and the Press

The Defence Journalist Association of Bangladesh (DJAB) is a professional association of journalists covering foreign affairs, diplomacy, and international relations. Since 2010, the Forum has served as a bridge between the diplomatic community in Dhaka and the national press, fostering accurate, ethical, and responsible international reporting.

Through briefings, workshops, and international forums, we equip journalists with the knowledge and access they need — while offering missions and institutions a credible, professional media counterpart.

format_quote

Journalism and diplomacy share one duty above all — the pursuit of truth in service of the public. Our Forum exists to ensure that Bangladesh's window to the world is informed, fair, and free.

For over a decade, our members have reported from summits, missions, and crisis zones with integrity. I invite every journalist committed to international affairs — and every partner who values an informed public — to join us in this work.
