Membership Renewal Deadline — FY 2026–27
All general and associate members are requested to renew their membership fees before July 31, 2026 to maintain active status and event accreditation privileges. Renewal forms are available at the Secretariat and via email.

Call for Nominations — Standing Committee 2026–28
Nominations are invited from General Members in good standing for three vacant positions on the Standing Committee on Ethics and Accreditation. Nomination forms must be submitted to the Secretariat by June 30, 2026.
New Accreditation Guidelines for Ministerial Press Briefings
Revised protocols for media access at Ministry of Foreign Affairs briefings, effective July 1, 2026.
Registration Open: Diplomatic Reporting Workshop — Batch 9
The two-day certified workshop will be held on July 12–13 at the National Press Club. Seats limited to 30 participants.
Secretariat Closed for Eid-ul-Adha — June 16–19
The DJAB Secretariat will remain closed from June 16 to June 19, 2026. Regular operations resume June 20.
Annual General Meeting 2026 — Minutes Approved and Published
The approved minutes of the AGM held on May 15, 2026 are now available for download in the AGM Reports section.
Nominations Open: DJAB Excellence in Diplomatic Reporting Award 2026
Members may self-nominate or nominate a colleague for the annual award. Deadline for submissions: August 15, 2026.
Diplomatic Dialogue Series — Session 4 Rescheduled to July 8
Due to a scheduling conflict at the venue, Session 4 of the Diplomatic Dialogue Series has been moved from June 25 to July 8.
Updated Code of Ethics — Members Requested to Review
The revised Code of Ethics for Diplomatic and Defence Reporting has been circulated to all members. Acknowledgement required by May 31.
New Partnership: Joint Training Programme with Press Institute of Bangladesh
DJAB has signed an MOU with the Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB) for a joint annual training programme beginning Q3 2026.
